Atlas Squished Screen Fix
Summary: The key to resolving this issue seems to be having the primary monitor set to 100% scaling and rebooting.
Remember when you set the scale to do it for ALL monitors.
- Right click on the desktop and select Display Settings.
- Select the Laptop monitor
- Use the Identify button if you are not sure which is your Laptop
- Ensure “Make this my main display” is selected
- Set the scale to 100%.
- Repeat this for ALL remaining monitors.
- Reboot your computer.
- Atlas InfoPath should now display correctly on all monitors
Fix Squished Screen – Large Screen Primary Monitor (Laptop > 100%)
- Complete the steps for Fix Squished Screen – Laptop Primary Monitor
- All monitors should now be at 100%
- Right click on the desktop and select Display Settings.
- Select the Large Screen Monitor
- Use the Identify button if you are not sure which is your Large Screen
- Ensure “Make this my main display” is selected
- Ensure the scale is set to 100%.
- Select the Laptop monitor
- Use the Identify button if you are not sure which is your Laptop
- Ensure “Make this my main display” is NOT selected
- Set the Laptop resolution to the desired scale
- Reboot your computer.
Fix Squished Screen – VDI Settings
If all of the above is completed and the customer is using VDI – validate the following:
- Open the VDI Options drop down and ensure the ALLOW DISPLAY SCALLING is checked
- Log out and close the VDI App.
- Open VDI using the start menu on the largest screen you plan to use.
- If the App opens on a different screen, move it to the large screen.
- Close the App again.
- The next time you open it should default to the large screen with the correct resolution.
